Our hand forged Sauté Pan comes to you pre-seasoned. The Sauté is deeper than our fry pan, meant to hold more volume with steeper sides, and a helper handle for easy lifting. Long handle stays comfortable while cooking

Carbon steel pans are great for searing, caramelizing, and baking - plus, you can learn to cook delicate foods like fish and eggs with no sticking. They’re iron pans, forged rather than cast, which makes them lighter and easier to handle, and quicker to season.

It can take high temperatures and go from stove top, to oven, to the table.

What is the difference between the  Sauté Pan and the Fry Pan?

sauté pan is best for larger volumes of food, for sauces and shallow frying, and requires a helper handle because it weighs more than the fry pans. Oddly, the sauté pan is not great for sautéing because the steeper sides slow down moisture evaporation.  A fry pan is made for tossing the food, and searing because it has more flared sides.

All our pans can take high temperatures and they can go from stove top, to oven, to table. Requires only a light seasoning out of the box. Handle stays comfortable with most cooking.
